Safety

The biggest negative of metal landscape edging is that it is very dangerous - most commonly for dogs and kids. Over time, it tends to become rusty and extremely sharp. This is usually caused by lawnmowers scraping the top edge or nature that tends to push the metal up out of the ground exposing sharp edges. Our dog, Zeus, cut his paw on some metal edging resulting in a $772 vet bill. The cost of the vet was not nearly as unpleasant as the pain and stress the wound caused for Zeus.

At trade shows, we've heard story after story of not only injured dogs, but people who have been severely harmed as well. A typical CURB Scape job is just $950 - often less than the price of a medical or vet bill.
